Weight Management Programme
Losing weight by “dieting” takes a lot of will power and is difficult to sustain long term. Most of us give up at some point and pile on the pounds again, trapping many people into the cycle of yo-yo dieting. This can lead to lack of self esteem and confidence, feelings of failure, guilt, shame and low mood with the added risk of increasing health problems.
The aim of the programme is to help you to naturally make the right food choices, have a healthy relationship with food and eating, enjoy taking part in regular exercise (if safe and possible to do so) and feel good about yourself. The programme is fully supported with an information packs, measuring tools to assess progress and self help techniques that you can use to deal with cravings, negative behaviour and emotional eating.
